You should try it, One of the most effective ways is Rooting your android phone and installing a custom rom, But be careful. If you make a mistake, Your phone will be bricked, Go to xda developers website and search for rooting methods and custom roms for your phone.

I tried and passed - uninstall useless and chinese apps, move huge files to SD card, stop unwanted processes, don't root, have developer access, switch off or restart phone often, don't try incompatible apps.
