RE: GAMELOFT VS JAVA GAMES
Their are alternatives. There is a samsung touchscreen phone with a slide out keypad at the bottom. Think it may have been android.

Or even better still, use a bluetooth joypad. Best of both worlds. Although you may have to prop your phone up somehow. And some phones have hdmi, so you could play android games through a tv with a joypad in your hand. Not going to be as good as a console.

This is wrong. It is because java phones are cheaper models and soon will get off market. These days we all should own a touch screen device. Android is the future newer models, amazing GPU and some are affordable. Games even 2D has improved for Android many arcades with good graphics on touch screen. Android gaming is like upgrading java from 2D to 3D. The games run much smoother and enjoyable.

RE: GAMELOFT VS JAVA GAMES
Piracy is not the reason. Java phones are just becoming too old for this era. So it is time to stop making java games. There are also Android free games and GL don't mind if they make all games for free. It is not the about the money it is about the older phone models becoming discontinued. Android can play better games. Android is the improvement of java. Java was popular in 2006-2009 also free games around. But today R.I.P java.
