how to install apk apps on external sd card without rooting

I do it with mine and not rooted. Need a file manager to explore sd card and make sure application settings is set to unknown sources. Hope this helps.

go to settings - storage click on preferred install location, then lick SD card.

sorry I read post wrong. thought you were trying to install from sd card. i'm not sure if what Donholy28 said works on all android's though. I can't on my xperia mini. some file manager apps allow you to move apps to sd card. it opens up the android menu for you to move it. but the option isn't there. my phone is only android 2.11.

Guys ,you can't move a whole data/obb of game to ext.SD without root.butyou can move only apk of game (40-50mb thing)to ext.SD. follow my steps......
Download move to SD.......open that app.......in settings change backup directory sdcard/backup to ext.SD /backup......now back....select user apps list......tick the apps u want to backup.......click back up......Now all the apk of apps are copied to ext.SD. if u are rooted u can use Gl to SD to move including obbs......Enjoy.....Better root your device....using vroot...I can even upload my king user app ...and it alone root your device.I tried it with my bros phone
