Description: A mixture of simulator and arcade, Taxi! pits you with the responsibility of running your very own Taxi company. You’ll begin with a dated vehicle that will need to be upgraded to reach its full potential before you invest in new cars and hire drivers to expand your business across the entire city. Taxi! will include three cities, one in the U.S, another in England and a final city in Europe. Each of the cities include stylised cartoon graphics with each of the maps recreating the driving conditions for that country. In the U.K you’ll need to navigate roundabouts and drive on the left hand side of the road while in the U.S you’ll need to drive on the right hand side and tackle junctions.
Your duties will be split between managing the company by delegating drivers to cabs to getting behind the wheel and completing fares yourself. As you progress, you’ll earn money to repair and upgrade your cabs. You’ll also be able to purchase new cabs to command a fleet of Taxi drivers.
The missions are incredibly varied, ranging from simple dispatch missions, following other drivers and perilously balancing luggage atop your car while taking corners carefully to make sure none of your passengers valuables fall victim to the bustling traffic.
