To me The Forgotten Sands sounds like the last one for java. Android may release new ones under Ubisoft. Not GL. I think GL don't work with Ubisoft anymore..so no more POP java games unless Ubisoft makes it.

It could also mean AC Black Flag won't be for java or GL. Just Ubisoft.

I'm not sure. GL could again sign with Ubisoft to make new AC or POP java game. We never know.

Gameloft makes Ubisoft games look good so Ubisoft should sign with gameloft
