I disagree. Here in the west the press and far-right government have been promoting propaganda (to the point of being racist) against China and its people. I remember on the beggining of the pandemia when they were saying "China is murdering it's people with their lockdowns" and "it's because they eat bats", then when it got spreaded all over the world while it was controled in China, and a lot of people were still dieing (and it's getting even bigger today), to distract the people from the west's irresponsability in the pandemic, they were sharing a lot of fake news saying stuffs like "China is randomly sending infected seeds to the people around the world". In fact, China is the country who more vaccinate people and export vaccine, even to the countries that attacks them like mine, Brazil, with this stupid president that were copying everything Trump were doing and being supported by him and his government. ¿So what they do? They share fake news against the China's vaccines.

China is not a enemy, our government, the western imperialism and capitalist corporations are

It has begginning in the 3rd industrial revolution and the ending of the cold war

In this period, Latin America's countries with progressive, social-liberal or socialist governments, like Brazil with João Goulart's trabalhism, Argentina with Maria's peronism, Chile with Salvador Allende's democratic-socialism etc, wich were developing their economic sovereignty, nationailizing foreign enterprises and doing rural reforms, were attacked with military coups supported by the United States.

With the ending of the 3rd revolution, the communications and means of production were getting easier and thus getting globalized.

This is when China has seen the beggining of the globalization and the threat of the imperialism's dominance in the techonlogy industry. So they took economic reforms (wich were very controversial into the Chinese Communist Party itself) to open their market to the international market and insert themselves into the begginning globalization, without losting their sovereignty.
Their beggining was very controversial: while China were receiving investment from the west industry, they were also producing pirate, replicas and fake products and exporting it to the world, to gather knowledge about these technologies, gather money from the foreign and improve their own industrial technologies. But this is how they begin their technology.

Today's China is very advanced and has passed the west technology. Everything that we use here are produced in China. But oposite to this statement, China has not forgot other countries. It has joinned the BRICS and had a important role in South Africa's, Brazil's and India's (even thought India-China conflicts) industry's development. This mobilized the United States to interfere into Brazil's politics to bring down Dilma's progressive government and close Brazil's national industry with the use of Lava-Jato Operation, for example.
China also makes investiments in Africa's industry and were giving their lastest technologies such as their 5G to countries like Nigeria's industrial technology.

In answer, the U.S. in Trump's government shared fake news against the Chinese 5G technology and started to boycott Chinese corportations such as Xiaomi and Huawei, and this is being continued into the Biden's administration. India is being inserted to this.
