Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment officially announces the Man of Steel game for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, as well as Android smartphones and tablets too. The superaction adventure will be available to play starting June 14, 2013 on the AppStore, Google Play and Amazon Appstore
Based on the upcoming movie, the game is a 3D-brawler that allows all players to battle General Zod and his invading Kryptonian forces, since fighting on the ground is too mainstream for Superman, you get to fight on both ground and air in a fast-paced mobile adventure. Developed by Phosphor Games Studio , Man of Steel gives players two unique game modes. The first is Story Mode, featuring custom, console-quality cinematic sequences, in which transports players right to Smallville, the Kent Farm and more familiar settings to defeat General Zod and rescue Earth from its doomed fate. The other mode, Survival Mode, tests players to see how long they can last with those awful swarm of Zod’s forces in combat.
You can also do cool stuff like share scores with friends to see which one is more super than theother, as well as upgrade their skills and unlock new suits by winning quests and earning experience points as you go along. “The Man of Steel game allows Superman fans to extend the movie experience and game on-the-go with their favorite characters from the ‘Man of Steel’ film,” said Greg Ballard, Senior Vice President, Mobile, Social and Emerging Platforms, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “Phosphor Games delivered an addictive brawler that lets players feel the power of being a Super Hero.”
The superfantastic game is available for $2.99 from the App Store on iPhone and iPod touch yet an HD version is available for $4.99 on iPad as well.The game is also available for $4.99 for Android smartphones and tablets from Google Play or Amazon Appstore for Android too.
