Java devices will survive many more years in future. but Java games will get almost vanished. there's no guarentee, it can be totally destroyed. The only hope is this site.

There's still Java devices being made. Positivo P30 is one of them that are still being made and sell today, but it only sells in Brazil
They are becoming even more rare
I don't know if theres other Java devices being made on other countries

But, Java ME itself has not died, Oracle is still supporting and updating it, currently, we have Java ME 8.3, and they're integrated in Raspberry PI.
I do have in mind creting a custom featurephone with Raspberry PI, wich can run Java games and also emulate other retro consoles. I've met the SquirrelJME's developer wich also has a custom flip phone made on RaspberryPI in mind.

Java mobile is already getting scarce in nigeria so sad

Because, i will see if your point comes true in nigeria Battlefield fact: 90% of nigerians are using android/normal mobile phone Read rules! . Why, 10% are using java Gamer phone.. Couple Note: it will be very scarce to see nigerians in this site(java platform) after 5/10years so sad Except, those using java emulator on their android devices I'm sick

I think java games will always be there in the internet, which means the games will survive but i don't think the phones will survive.
