So, are we still seeing each other for lunch tomorrow?|Of course, you can count on it!|Perfect! See you tomorrow dad.|(... Ooh... That was close...)|Where did you find that? Is it yours?|I'd prefer not to say at the moment. Can you just have a look and see what's on if for me?|I see... You're playing at being mysterious, eh? No problem, I'll check it out for you.|So?|Hmm... It's tricky, the data seems to be encrypted... Where did you get this memory card?|Oh, nowhere... They're just a girlfriend's holiday snaps. Can you extract the data?|I can try to, yes...|So, your girlfriend, is she the type to encrypt her photos? Hah, I'd like to see that!|Look, don't be funny... I need to get going. I'll leave the card with you, OK?|I'll be back soon, I won't be long.|No sweat! In any case, I'll be here, it's going to take me a while to decypher all this...|I hope it's going to be worth the effort!|Don't touch that painting please... It's difficult to put back in it's place.|Every time I want to get into my safe, it takes 10 minutes to hang it back on the wall.|(So, it's like that then, The Joliette's Office safe is behind that painting...)|(Right then, I need to find a way of getting my dad out of here for a while.)|Well, I'm not there yet... It's going to take at least a day to decypher it all!|Alex, I haven't got the time to explain, so please listen carefully!|?|Some really wierd stuff is going down here at the moment, and I'm on the case.|What on earth are you talking about?|Just listen! Let's meet here tomorrow morning, at 10am exactly.|If I don't make it to our meeting, give that card to Lumbroso.|What... Lumbroso's interested in holiday snaps too? I didn't realise that he would be into that sort of thing...|Oh yes, in my inbox there's a message called confidential documents.|I don't yet know if it's important, but give that to him too. Do you understand?|I just don't get it... Lumbroso Lumbroso... He just doesn't seem the type...|Do you understand?!!|Yes, alright! I've got it, no need to shout...|Right, I need to get going. See you tomorrow Alex.|At least... I hope...|Well, it's all very well being here... But I don't even know what I'm looking for...|Trust me to get myself into a situation like this! Where did I get the idea to come here from...|I could be back home, snuggling on the sofa with Benoit...|Bun no! I had to come and stick my nose in... As usual...|Eh?|What are you doing here?|Stop! Stop now! Help! Hel...|Well, hello you!|So, still no inspiration for your article?|Laters! Call me!|Here|Estelle|Lumbroso|Case|Why|End conversation|What are you doing here?|Did it go ok with Estelle?|I just bumped into Lumbroso Lumbroso... He told me that they found a young delinquent drowned yesterday.|It goes further than just a settling of scores, he was the prime suspect in a big case they're on at the moment.|What am I saying... Why did this guy get himself killed?|I'm waiting for Estelle. She was with a friend, we arranged to meet here.|There are highs and lows... Just like any couple, eh! But it's fine!|Hmm... Without doubt, two parties settling a score - and it went bad.|In general, it's the witnesses who get taken out one by one, not the suspects!|Oh, I see where you're going with this! Stop immediately Manon, don't get involved. It could be dangerous...|Oh, I know that look... You've finally found a meaty subject to write about!|Do you want something?|See you later, good luck with your article!|Michel|Dress|Estelle|Mobile phone|End conversation|Is Michel around?|Nice dress!|Have you seen Estelle? I need her help with mu investigation.|You haven't picked up Jean's mobile by any chance?|No, he left with a bunch of Midi fishermen... I'm pleased to be here on my own!|Oh thanks! You're the only person who noticed! It's brand new.|No, not for ages.In general Jean comes here on his own. I hope everything's OK between them.|His mobile? I've just cleaned the whole place, and I didn't find anything. Sorry!|Manon, this isn't the best time to bother me with your article!|I've got to get on with the investigation. Please get out of here, now!|Let me work now.|Questions|End conversation|But I just wanted to ask you a couple of questions about...|Listen to me very carefully... Journalists and me have never got along.|And if I gave you that information it's because I like you. Don't make me regret it!|Oh my, my, aren't you just the prettiest little thing!|So, you gorgeous creature, have you thought about my little offer?|OK, off from whence you came then!|Thank you|Know|With someone|End conversation|Thanks for the compliment...|I've seen you before here haven't I... Gary, isn't it?|There's already somebody in my life, and...|Hey, wouldn't you like to marry a charming geezer like me? Come on!|Yep! That's right... Gary the Boozer, at your service!|Oh well, they all say no... Some days, I don't even know why I get out of bed!|How dare you...|I have no wish to see you!|Leave me alone!|Explanations|End conversation|Estelle, it's just a misunderstanding...|You're nothing more than a... A... Argh! I can't find a nice way to put it!|What brings you here Manon?|It's kind to pay me a visit...|Come back when you want, Jean's friends are welcome here.|Alright?|Alone|Mobile phone|Burglary|End conversation|How are you Marie?|You're not bored, here all alone?|Tell me Jean's lost his phone...|You know Marie... For that burglary business, I think Catarina Alves was telling the truth.|Fine, fine. But it's unfeasibly hot outside...|Not at all! I read a lot... In fact, I've just finished a lovely book. I lent it to Nadia.|You're in luck! He forgot it when he left, I was hanging on to it. Here you go.|Oh... Really... Let's not talk about it today please? It's been going so well, and I don't want to ruin it all.|So, have you found the mobile phone?|So, have you found the mobile phone?|So, did you see Estelle?|Good luck!|No|Mobile phone|Estelle|End dialogue|Not yet, no...|Can you remind me where Estelle is?|At the same time, I don't think now would be the best time to call Estelle...|She's at the Old Port... But if I were you, I wouldn't go! She's not in the best of moods...|By the way Manon, look what we got this morning... It looks like Victoire is having a great time in Andalusia!|I found a lovely little boutique in the Panier area of Marseille.|See you later!|Nice!|Oh yeah?|End conversation|Oh yeah! Sounds like a lovely place!|Really? Has it been open long?|Only two weeks since it opened! I'd give anything for a few days of holiday...|Yes! Next timej I'll take you along with me... They've got some really gorgeous dresses!|There you are... You took your time! What were you doing with Jean then?|What do you want again?|What makes you think you can hang around my boyfriend?!|Trust|Pendant|Promise of jewellry|Don't blame him|Where is he?|End conversation|Why are you so hard on Jean? Don't you trust him?|I need to get back the pendant that Jean gave you.|Listen, I know Jean promised you some jewellry|You mustn't blame him...|Please Estelle, I really need that pendant... Where is it?|Yes... I trust him... But I'm wary of other girls! I can't lose him, do you understand?|Listen to the explanations again to see if something clicks!|... I haven't found the right item to use. I need to listen again.|... I haven't got the right item in my inventory. I need to look around dome more.|Listen, I know Jean promised you some jewellry, but this can help me solve a murder.|You mustn't blame him...|Please Estelle, I really need that pendant... Where is it?|Yes... I trust him... But I'm wary of other girls! I can't lose him, do you understand?|Jean bought me this pendant, it's mine!|And it's the first present he's given me, so don't expect me to give it up so easily.|You are jealous, because he never gave you anything in the time you were together!|And knowing Benoit's mean side, he's not going to be the one who buys you presents!|Wait a minute...|The necklace and pendant... It belongs to this young lady, she's called Catarina.|This dodgy guy gave it to me as a present, and I gave it to Jean, to give to you.|That's pathetic... Are you proud of yourself?|Jean gives me a present and you ruin it!|... No, this is a dead end.|Stop, you're not making any sense. You're wearing me out...|I can see right through your game... Jean made the most of my absence to call you, and you met him at the Midi!|Isn't that it? You meet each other secretly, and to ease your conscience, you tell him to give me some jewellry?|And then behind my back, you send him text messages, telling him that you're thinking of him...|And when he says he is on duty at the hospital on weekends, it's a lie! This is just to join you ...|Wait a minute...|Stop making such outrageous claims... There is nothing between Jean and me!|You see this catalogue? It belongs to Jean. He's wanted to get you some jewellry for ages...|Brilliant! My boyfriend wants to get me a present, and who does he talk to about it? His ex, obviously!|How do you want me to take that?|... No, this is a dead end.|Stop, you're not making any sense. You're wearing me out...|It's the first time that he's given jewellry to any girl... That means I must mean something to him!|But only a little bit... I know he doesn't want to spend the rest of his life with me...|But if he really loved me, he would have bought me some real jewellry! Instead of just giving me someone elses!|Plus, I hate gold jewellry!|Wait a minute...|If you would think about him for a moment, instead of obsessing about yourself, you would know that Jean doesn't have any money.|He's in debt to pay for medical school. He is massively in the red...|What? He never told me about that...|I don't need him to spoil me with gifts! All I want is him...|... No, this is a dead end.|Stop, you're not making any sense. You're wearing me out...|I haven't got it on me, so don't go on about it.|I lost it in the calanques. I was out walking with Victoire the day before he left.|The clasp didn't close properly, Jean warned me... A design fault.|It's a shame, I was going to take it to the jewellers to get it fixed...|Wait a minute...|Victory left more than two weeks ago...|And you've only had the necklace for three days!|You're a good investigator... But as for friendship and fidelity, that's another thing!|Treacherous and cunning... You've all the makings of a good journalist! Well done!|... No, this is a dead end.|Stop, you're not making any sense. You're wearing me out...|Good timing Manon! I've just got back from hanging out with the Midi fishermen, and I had an idea...|Ah, my chums in the fishing fraternity, they really are generous!|Alright, see you later my little one!|Really?|End conversation|Oh yes?...|The next time you should come with me! Marcel and Serge would love to give you an interview!|They're the best fishermen in the town, you know... It would make a great article!|How about a little thank you?|By the way Manon, there's a craftwork market today on the Canebire...|If you have any spare time you should go and have a walk along the Canebire!|Oh, I've got work to do!|Canebire|End conversation|On the Canebire?|I was there earlier, and I came back with lots of little treasures!|Incense, exotic jewellry... And a maple sap face cream!|Roght, OK... In the films, the hero always manages with a toothpick or some chewing gum...|But what you really need is some pliers!|Oh, look... There's a memory card hidden in the pendant!|Matches... I'll hang on to them, you never know! A good investigator needs to be well equiped!|No, this isn't a good time Manon... I'm gaming!|Manon! Let me game in peace!|Manon, stop interrupting me for no reason!|That's it, see you later.|Game|Memory card|Encryption|End conversation|Wasting your time on another silly computer game...|Could you have a look at that?|But I just wanted to see how you are getting on with the decyphering...|I've nearly finished level 7... And soon I'll have unlocked the super fast helicopter!|This game is awesome! But you wouldn't understand...|Breaking the encryption takes time you know!|Does your girlfriend work for the CIA, or what? You only see encryption as strong as this in the movies.|If she's gone to so much trouble, it must be really worth a look! I'm nearly there...|Can you smell the delightful odour od cedar wood?|Stphanie offered me some incense sticks... They're going to perfume the whole hotel!|I'm going to rest... Nothing like a little siesta to recharge the batteries!|Incense|End conversation|Hmm... Very nice... Where did you get the incense?|This one comes all the way from South Africa.|Ah, my darling girl. Kind of you to pay me a visit.|Do you miss your old dad then?|Take care darling.|All good?|End conversation|How are you dad?|Good, good. I've got a meeting today, but we can eat together tomorrow lunch if you like!|Manon, you can't just turn up like you own the place!|Hurry up, I haven't got the time...|Stay out of all that, it's safer...|Investigation|Lagadec|Gangs|Catarina|Documents|End conversation|Is the investigation coming along?|Have you found anything more out about Rmi Lagadec's death?|Do you think it could be due to gangs settling old scores?|Lagadec was after Catarina Alves... Do you know why?|And hence the burglary... That makes more sense. These documents, where are they now?|No, we've been going round in circles... All our leads turn into dead ends...|The autopsy is underway... We'll know in a couple of hours.|No, it goes much further than that... We think Lagadec was part of a network of revolutionaries.|Mrs Alves is in possession of some confidential documents.|It would seem that the revolutionaries want to get hold of them ant any cost.|They're locked up, in your father's safe at Joliette's Office.|But Manon, stay away from all this, don't go playing the budding investigator.|None of this business smells any good, and I've a feeling things are going to get worse...|Ah, my darling daughter! Nice of you to pay me a visit.|I'm busy all day, but we can have lunch together tomorrow if you like!|Indeed! Have you been missing your old dad then?|I'm really sorry I can't get away today...|Do you need anything, my love?|I'm really sorry not to have any time today... I'll make it up to you!|Alright?|Meeting|Coffee|Mood|Meet Catarina|End conversation|How are you dad*,|Do you have an important meeting?|Could you make me a coffee please dad?|You seem to be in a good mood lately...|If you want to go and meet her, I can hang around to meet the repair man!|Good, good. I've got a meeting today, but we can eat together tomorrow lunch if you like!|A repair man is coming to fix the smoke detector... It's far too sensitive.|Last time it was the coffee machine that set it off!|Of course darling. The coffee machine is brand new, I bought it this morning!|Come on Manon, you still haven't drunk the one I just made for you!|Another one? You should be careful darling, it's bad to drink too mush coffee...|Hmm, yes... I have to admit that seeing Catarina again after all this time, is doing me a world of good...|No, it's not your problem darling... And anyway, Catarina isn't around today.|I think you're a bit rude Manon! You wouldn't catch me going through your things, would you?!|But waht are yo up to Manon? Are you playing at the apprentice repair man? Don't touch that.|So that's the famous smoke detector? I wonder if it is as sensitive as my father says it is...|A smoke detector... I wonder how sensitive it is...|Damn, the last two numbers are illegible! Right, I'll have to work them out...|And here is the famous safe!|I know my father, he can never remember figures.|He must have noted the code somewhere...|Right then, concentrate... It must be something logical...|Hmm... The old code was JOLIETTE... but it's a number keypad! What is the relation with the letters?|In the movies, the guy always has a safe with his wife's or his dog's name as the pass code...|The person I care most about is Benoit... Who does my father care about?...|That's it!|And here are Catarina's documents! I've only got a little bit of time left...|Hmm... If I copy the documents on this computer, I could send them by email!|I got away with it! I just need to put the key back in it's place, and close the safe!|Right, all done. Now I need to put everything back in their places, before my father comes back!|A photo, a newspaper article... An address? It's clearly at the Docks...|The smoke alarm is going off!
