I needed to take it to her.|In exchange for the pendant Alex's friend gave me, Jean agreed to to Pnicie.|It appeared that the links between my father and Catarina weren't all that they appeared...|Since I had no money left, I decided it was time I earnt some cash of my own.|I tried to sell my talents to Michel: Cooking, serving, cleaning... I can do anything!|Though he was sceptical, Michel conceded in the end... He gave me a job for the season.|Dumont and Catarina, chatting on the Midi terrace, appear to fancy each other.|Catarina wants to buy an apartment, and Dumont is playing the estate agent.|Two can play at that game... I decided to beat Dumont at his own game...|I showed Catarina that the apartments that Dumont had proposed weren't good investments.|Dumont had been exposed. Hard to say who was guilty. I dragged them off to the police station.|Marc wasn't in the least bit concerned with the investigation... He was far too busy hitting on me.|Much more than just a suspect, Rmi refused to confess.|Finally, the Captain came to a decision...|Between the booby-trapped container and the handbag... There was enough: Lumbroso placed Lagadec under arrest.|When I bumped into Manon, I found out that Rmi had been arrested.|I wanted to be sure that Rmi wouldn't breathe a word about the dodgy sunglasses business.|Nadia refused to tell me where Rmi was locked up.|Finally, she broke... Rmi was in a cell at the station, which left us alone for 5 minutes.|I explained the situation with Rmi, and my fears were calmed: Rmi hadn't talked about the glasses.|But that lead to another question: Why had Rmi attacked Catalina?|After picking my way through all Rmi's lies, I got to the truth...|Rmi was under the Boss' orders: He needed to get information about Catalina.|With the help of Nadia, I discovered the place where the Boss was calling from.|I discovered that Rmi Lagadec had escaped from the police station. At last a scoop!|As soon as I got there, I realised that Alex had been placed under arrest.|Looking for other information, I decided to go and talk to Catarina.|She was mortified at the idea that Lagadec could be back.|But I sensed that there was something else...|Catarina ended up by telling me about her relationship with my dad. According to her, ancient history now.|Being a journalist, I knew how to ask the right questions... Catarina cracked.|She admitted that she was still in love with my father... But not to say a word to him!|When Catarina and Renaud arrived, Jacky, a courier, had just delivered a package to Joliette.|After a couple of minutes, the Jacky keeled over, unconscious.|I arrived on the scene, determined to find out what had happened.|Catarina was in a right state, talking nonsense: She said that it was poison.|Finally, she admitted to being in possession of some documents that the revolutionaries from her country wanted to get hold of.|Later, I went back to the police station... I needed to sort out the Alex situation, he was still under arrest.|Bartens got involved: He was convinced that Alex was guilty!|Finally I decided that the evidence was too tenuous to put Alex in prison. I let him go.|Following Lagadec's escape, Nadia had been summoned to the bosses. Her career was in peril!|Feeling responsible, I decided to come to her aid. I set off to do my own investigation.|On arriving at the Old Port, I realised that Dumont had hired Rmi.|Dumont admitted to working with Rmi from time to time.|He asked me to do him a little favour, in return for which, he would tell me where to find Lagadec.|My mission: go to the police station and delete the messages on Rmi's mobile phone.|To do this I bribed Gary: While he distracted the policemen, I slipped into the police station.|Mission accomplished! I went and told Dumont how it had gone down, and obtained Rmi's address.|Tactless as he is, Bartens suggested, or rather insisted, that I go out on patrol with him.|I refused, feeling immediately that this patrol risked having a rather romantic conclusion.|Upset, Bartens left to patrol on his own.|Alex joined me at the police station, and gave me Rmi Lagadec's address.|I contacted Bartens and we went there.|Lagadec's hideout was filthy and untidy... But we found some clues.|At first sight, Lagadec was tracking Catarina and Renaud. He would have definitively left town.|Then after thinking about it, we realised that all this evidence had been planted...|So... Who the devil is Rmi? Where the hell is he? I needed to find him.|Alex had burst into the police station. Rmi admits to him that he's been acting on the orders of someone who calls him from a phonebox in the Old Port. A little later, Rmi escapes...
