Lentils
+3 servings
-250g lentils
-1 sausage for stew
-100g Parma ham
-1 big onion
-One small glass of olive oil
-3 spoonfuls of wine (optional)
-1 leaf of laurel
-2 big carrots
-3 small potatoes
-2 cloves of garlic
-1 pinch of saffron
-Ground pepper
-Salt
*-*Leave the lentils to soak for 30 min. Then strain them.
*-*Meanwhile, cut the ham in small cubes; slice the sausage and the carrots.
*m*Peel the potatoes and leave them whole.
*r*Cover lentles with water and cook in a cooking pan, 
*-*Put the ham, sausage, carrots and the potatoes into the cooking pan.
*f*Add the laurel leaf, the pepper, the saffron and the wine.
*s*Chop the onion and put it into a frying pan with oil. Chop the garlic and add it to the onion. Fry without browning.
*-*Add the onion and garlic to the lentils and add salt. Keep cook for 30 to 40 minutes at medium heat.
