The game objective is to place 35 different shapes on a 5x5 grid to form blocks of 2x2 or more bricks. Each time you create a block; you will earn points and the bricks in this block will be cleared from the screen. The shapes appear one by one every 10 seconds. You lose 7 points if you do not place a shape in the central grid in 10 seconds. You can press # at any time to skip a shape. The box at the top of the screen displays all the shapes that will be used. The grid to the right displays the shape to place. This has a yellow dot; its centre of gravity; you must position this shape relative to this dot, which is shown by the yellow cursor on the game grid.
In this mode the number of shapes is not limited; here it is only time that counts. Your objective is to achieve the best score in the time allowed.
Panic mode is identical to Classic mode, except that solid bricks are added to the game grid every 3 rounds, stopping you from placing the shapes where you want to. Luckily you can explode them using the brick bomb available every 2 rounds. Play the game to capture these bricks in a block containing a brick bomb.
In Survival mode several players play on the same phone. The principle is simple: each player plays a round of 1 minute. When all the players have had a turn, the player with the lowest score is eliminated and so on until one player is declared the winner.
In Combat mode several players play on the same phone. The players take turns to play in the same round. The objective for each player during their turn is to place the shape on the grid, either to score points or to prevent the next player from positioning their piece. The player who finishes with the most points wins the game.

THE UPPER GRID CONTAINS ALL THE BRICKS TO BE USED IN THE GAME. THE BRICKS STILL TO BE PLAYED ARE COLOURED BLUE, THE CURRENT BRICKS ARE PINK AND THOSE THAT HAVE ALREADY PLAYED ARE SHOWN IN WHITE.
THE GRID TO THE RIGHT DISPLAYS THE CURRENT PIECE AND YOU HAVE 10 SECONDS IN WHICH TO POSITION IT BEFORE IT IS REPLACED BY THE NEXT PIECE.
THE CENTRAL BOARD ON WHICH YOU MUST PLACE THE DIFFERENT BRICKS.
THE OBJECTIVE OF TRINGO IS TO SCORE A MAXIMUM NUMBER OF POINTS BY CONNECTING BRICKS TO FORM BLOCKS OF 2X2, 2X3 OR 3X3 SQUARES.
TO PLACE A BRICK, MOVE THE YELLOW CURSOR OVER THE REQUIRED SQUARE AND PRESS 5.
THE BRICK IS POSITIONED RELATIVE TO THE YELLOW DOT, ITS CENTRE OF GRAVITY.
THEN PLACE THE SECOND BRICK TO CREATE A BLOCK OF 2X2 SQUARES. THE BLOCK EXPLODES, THE BRICKS ARE CLEARED AND YOU SCORE POINTS.
