I've written some demos to help people to learn Java development in J2ME SDK Mobile
They are fully commented so you'll have fewer difficulty to learn this
I'll make more demos soon
Complexity levels:
Beginner: Easy to read and understand
Moderated: Easy to read and understand, but some beginner knowledge is needed
Advanced: Uses some APIs you'll need to take some time with beginner knowwledge
Jars are found inside 'dist' directory

Be aware, these demos use an outdated game template base:

Additional: Read the J2ME Documentation (Java users: Open it with Opera Mini 8 or UCBrowser, if "Error 404" appear, check your URL bar, and change all the "%5C" to "/")

Added a new demo: Moving character/Player Demo
With this demo, you can learn how to import sprites and create your first controllable animated player.
Look for dedomil.yourgame.Player class, some useful informations encounters ar dedomil.yourgame.Game aswell
