Which level are you at?It will have battle system in it from 3 or 4 levels where you should build guard towers and recruit guards to stop enemies.The level where you build bridge across river and last level where there will attack enemies from all directions are hard and awesome.I played these 2 lvls more than 20 times.
Also try Command and Conquer:Red Alert and Command and Conquer 4:Twilight Saga by EA.

me not sure but did u try Warcraft3 ? it having to be good tower defense game
