Well, J2ME is a outdated and obsolete technology
But that doesn't mean there ins't users and that no one can develop games on it anymores. It occurs in other platforms aswell. 2021 and PS2, Gameboy, Windows XP, Nintendo Wii etc still has a huge community in wich find ways to develop for these platforms

They do
Gameboy for example, there's a guy that is developing a 3D engine for Gameboy based on his Minecrat project
Or the PS2, with the biggest community onde, wich is developing Open PS2 Loader, M-PS2-Craft, GTA V Legacy etc. They're even openning servers to revive online games
